Shannon Ayres is a corporate and commercial photographer based out of Northern Virginia. He specializes in portraiture.

Media clients include Washingtonian magazine, Arlington magazine, Middleburg Life magazine, Northern Virginia magazine, USA Today magazine, Virginia Business magazine, and Architect magazine.

He has an MFA photography from San Francisco’s Academy of Art University and has written and designed over 20 accredited graduate-level classes in photography. He has also taught at the Smithsonian Resident Associates at the castle in D.C.

He lives in Reston, Virginia with his wife Amy and two teenage daughters. In addition to photography, he loves cooking and playing the mandolin.

Available for commercial photography work in Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
